Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S | Review,Price,Interior,Exterior

Information Specification Modification Image Review Price Image Aston Martin V12 Vanquish
Aston Martin has a few line-up is classified as a car with great power and is the ultimate car for the British manufacturer. One is that DBS is a fast version of the DB9. With 510 hp power, DBS is one of the fastest cars ever built Aston Martin. But now the two-door car has entered a period of 'retirement' and no longer manufactured.

But Aston Martin has just introduced a successor generation of DBS, the Vanquish. Actually, the Vanquish is not a new name in the line of Aston Martin. The name was never used for the British GT car manufacturer in 2002 to 2007. But it seems that the new Vanquish is more geared as the next generation DBS, compared to the second generation of his elder brother's.

This car is built on the new VH platform. Vanquish exterior design retains the distinctive design of Aston Martin. The front can be seen an oval headlights that we find also in other Aston Martin models. LED Daytime Running Lights presence make this coupe look modern and not outdated. British manufacturers grille typical of the trapezoid is also present in these fast cars.

Although loosely based on the Virage/V8 platform, the now out-of-production Aston Martin V12 Vanquish featured thoroughly modern technology. The main body structure included aluminum sections bonded and riveted around a central carbon-fiber transmission tunnel. Carbon fiber A-pillars, all-aluminum suspension and aluminum body panels served to keep weight down, although the Vanquish still weighed in at a little more than 2 tons.

The powertrain was equally cutting-edge, with a high-performance 6.0-liter V12 engine that first made 460 horsepower, and later 520. Tasked with getting that power to the rear wheels was an automated-clutch, six-speed sequential-shift manual gearbox utilizing F1-style paddle shifters.

By today's standards, control efforts-steering, throttle, brake-are heavy. Aston has dispensed with the awful part-plastic steering wheel of early Vanquishes-and generally tidied up the cabin. The sport seats with deep shoulder wings are excellent, and the matching hand-stitched leather trim now extends across what had been a painted-aluminum fascia centerpiece. The rest of the surroundings are a mixture of neat (cast aluminum handles and door pulls) and unworthy (switches from owner Ford, with ill-matched plastic surrounds). The next generation of Astons, exemplified by the DB9, does these things better.

Outside, you have to be an Aston expert to spot the difference between a Vanquish and a Vanquish S. The grille is wider and has more curvature, there is a splitter lip under the nose, and the trailing edge of the trunklid is flicked up to aid high-speed stability and, conveniently, to accommodate the center brake light.

The manufacturer describes this car as the fastest-ever Aston Martin. We used to describe the Vanquish as the fastest and most expensive car in the Ford firmament, but now there is the Ford GT. So the Aston Martin V-12 Vanquish S is just the most expensive. source:caranddriver.com,autobildindonesia.com,edmunds.com

2013 Chevrolet Cruze Recall | Revie,Price,Interior,Exterior

Information Specification modification Review Price Image 2013 Chevrolet Cruze Recall

The Chevrolet Cruze has been a standout product in many respects. With its introduction a couple of years ago, Chevrolet showed shoppers that it could produce a serious, top-tier compact sedan—one that excelled in comfort, interior space, safety, and features. And if those aspects are your shopping priority, the Cruze is one of the best picks in its class—especially for 2013, with a bolstered lineup of infotainment and active-safety features.

When it was first introduced for the 2011 model year, the Cruze set a new design direction for GM compact cars. And while it isn't all that head-turning from the outside, the interior has one of the most stylish, cohesive layouts in this class of rather look-alike sedans. Inside, rich materials, stunning two-tone combinations, and an upscale feel all keep the Cruze above the rest. The Cruze is almost mid-sized, with enough space for four adults (five in a pinch), plus excellent adjustability for drivers and a huge trunk.

The Cruze features two new small-displacement four-cylinder engines; a 140-hp 1.4-liter turbo, or a 138-hp naturally-aspirated 1.8-liter. Depending on trim, a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. Available safety features include ten airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control and anti-theft alarm with engine immobilizer. The Cruze can be equipped with features such as heated leather power seating, sunroof, remote start, satellite radio, navigation system and automatic climate control.
The all-new Chevrolet Cruze station wagon offers a modern passenger cabin that is progressively styled and has the degree of flexibility to meet the demands and active lifestyles of modern families and individuals alike.
The interior features Chevrolet's signature dual cockpit, with wrap-around front fascia that flow into the driver and passenger door. Mid and up-level trims will boast a seven-inch high resolution touch screen located in the integrated center stack.

The mid-instrument panel is colored to match the seat inserts and door trims. A new interior color, Brownstone, will be introduced on mid and up-level specifications.

In cars that come with the brand-new Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system, or with the new base and mid-level radios, the layout of the instrument panel and center console has been re-designed. The storage compartment in the upper instrument panel is flanked by tall and sleek HVAC outlets. It has been moved forward, closer to the radio unit, and now houses USB and aux-in sockets.

Those connectivity features remain in the storage compartment located under the center console armrest in vehicles featuring the current integrated navigation system available in both left and right-hand-drive markets. In front of the driver, the instrument cluster is efficiently packaged, featuring Chevrolet's trademark ice-blue backlighting. A centrally located digital readout highlights average speed, selected gear in automatic transmissions and fuel range as well instantaneous and average fuel economy.

Vehicles equipped with Start/Stop technology will sport a cluster display with a eco drive assistance menu. It highlights an intuitive selection of data related to the ecological aspects of driving, in particular fuel efficiency.
Thanks to Passive Entry, Passive Start (PEPS), another up-market feature that is new in the Cruze, entering into and disembarking from the station wagon becomes a truly effortless affair. The system allows drivers to keep the car key in their pocket when unlocking, locking and while starting their vehicle with a push-button.
Customers can choose from two kinds of seat fabric or opt for heated leather seats, for a maximum of comfort. Depending on the trim level, air conditioning systems will be either manual or automatic and incorporate a filter that reduces the inflow of particulates and pollutants which may cause asthma and other respiratory conditions.
Customers whose car will be fitted with the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment or the integrated navigation systems will be able to use a standard rear view camera, a feature still rather uncommon in this segment.
If an accident does happen, six standard airbags are ready to be deployed by the sensing diagnostic module. The station wagon's rigid body structure, welded tubular section members in the doors, door beams made of ultra-high strength steels, and strong cross suspension members at the rear provide excellent all-round protection.

The front and rear crush zones, meanwhile, have been engineered to collapse in a controlled fashion, so as to maintain the integrity of the passenger cabin. A collapsible pedal assembly reduces the risk of injuries to the driver's legs and feet during moderate-to-severe impacts.

All Chevrolet Cruze station wagons are equipped with five three-point seatbelts and six standard airbags. Safety seats for children can be secured using the ISOFIX anchoring system on the two rear outboard positions.source:netcarshow.com,thecarconnection.com,autos.aol.com

2013 Cadillac XTS|Review-Price-interior-exterior

Information Specification Modification Image Review  2013 Cadillac XTS
Cadillac unveiled the 2013 XTS, the newest addition to the Cadillac luxury sedan lineup. It arrives in showrooms in U.S. and Canadian showrooms in the spring of 2012 as the most technologically advanced production car in the brand's history.

Larger than the CTS, the new Cadillac XTS delivers the space, elegance and dramatic presence that are Cadillac signatures, but with entirely new and technically advanced methods tuned for a new generation of luxury customers. It also marks the debut of CUE, a comprehensive in-vehicle experience that merges intuitive design with auto industry-first controls and commands for information and media control.
In addition to the CUE interface and connectivity, many other advanced technologies are integral to the new XTS. It will be the only luxury sedan with standard Magnetic Ride Control - the world's fastest-reacting suspension. Advanced technologies that enhance vision and safety surround the driver are available as well.
Positioned directly above the centerpiece CTS family in Cadillac's revamped lineup, the new XTS features a 3.6L direct injection engine and advanced all-wheel drive system, marking a shift to more-efficient performance in a spacious luxury sedan.

"The Cadillac XTS represents a new formula for luxury, driven by advanced technology," said Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac Marketing. "XTS showcases the evolution of our Art & Science philosophy, merging the best technical ideas with the continued refinement of Cadillac design."

The XTS is available in Standard, Luxury, Premium and Platinum trim levels.
The base XTS is fitted as standard with a host of luxury features, including leather upholstery, genuine wood trim, the aforementioned CUE infotainment system, an eight speaker Bose AM/FM/CD stereo with Sirium XM radio, HD radio and an auxiliary input jack, adaptive remote start and Cadillac’s elegantly named Twilight Sentinel automatic headlight system.

The XTS Luxury adds heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, upgraded wood trim 19-inch aluminum wheels, memory seats with adjustable thigh support, dual stainless steel tailpipes, auxiliary daytime running lights and LED spotlights.

Stepping up to the XTS Premium brings a navigation system, a 14-speaker premium Bose surround sound system, a color heads-up display and tri-zone automatic climate control. Also standard are addition safety features, including a front and rear ultrasonic parking aid system, a rearview camera, forward collision alert, a rear cross-traffic system alert, blind zone alert and a lane departure warning system.

The 2013 XTS’ safety features also distinguish it from its classmates. The XTS will debut with front and rear automatic brakes, which use radar sensors to automatically slow down the car and help prevent low-speed collisions. Another stand-out item is the Safety Alert Seat, which vibrates the left or right side of the driver’s seat cushion to warn the driver of potential accidents. Other optional safety features include lane departure warning, forward collision alert, blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control, which are common on other large luxury sedans. source:usnews.rankingsandreviews.com,netcarshow.com,leftlanenews.com
